Harry Lawtey - Industry On Hbo

Lads, have you never seen a dick in your life? Those are so obviously fake, the both actors have even the same dick c'mon... Plus, this is the industry business, why would some actors show their dicks and some not? It's all prosthetic, especially if the big studios company are behind it, even guys in Game of Thrones who were just walking by were wearing prosthetic, how do you think a studio like that will approach to great actors "you know what mate, you are professional and that and we respect you, but can you hang around flacid wrinkly dicks for a while?" When they film sex scenes they always use modisty patches for both female and male. Rare are the movies (mostly risk and independent ones) like The Dreamers or Love, but those are not Hollywood movies.

Even Chris Pratt said in an interview that once he got his dick out during filming just for fun (he did that to his with Anna Farris) and he got a warning letter from the director of company that he would be replaced if it happens again. Imagine in this time where everything is #MeToo when they are clothed, what would happen if actors and actress were really naked and someone would just look at them for more than 10 sec. How quickly are some convinced with modern technology that something is real, I hope you haven't seen Harry Potter this Christmas. The boy can't fly. It's a movie trick. That's what movies does. An actors are just an actors, they don't have monster flacid dicks lol, if he wouldn't be an actor he would be a salesman.

Mark Whalberg had a flacid prostetic in Boggie Nights, what are you on about they use fake dicks only when hard? Search it online "Prostetic penis for acting purpose" and buy yourself hard one if you can find one

It all depends on the actor and situation. I mean no shade to this actors but they are not household names. It's not that hard to get Europeans to be a bit more open for their craft.

The Chris Pratt story is a bit different because he was not supposed to be nude and he flashed Amy Poehler (as you mentioned) who had all the clout on that set and complained to the producers. It was only an issue because it was not agreed upon and teetered on sexual harassment. All nudity is coordinated. Look at Euphoria, produced by HBO, unlike Industry. They had a ton of nude scenes including a record number of cocks. The actors say that you get offered a bonus for doing nudity.

Every scene involving nudity is choreographed to ensure that the actor is comfortable. Waivers are signed and a handler is present as support for actors that are going to be nude. Everyone strives to be as professional as possible. Nudity does occur, typically not with A-listers, but it happens. Leonardo DiCaprio(!), Ben Affleck, Chris Pine, Jude Law, and Daniel Craig are all A-listers that have shown their real cocks on screen.

I do agree that it's rare and I'm going back and forth on this one being a prosthetic or real, but it got me hot either way. I think a prosthetic is perfectly acceptable, though I do feel bad to actresses because there is no substitute for showing their titties.

Was it Amy Poehler? I thought it was Anna Farris, my bad. It was long ago since I heard him telling this story.

Would you say that if an actor wears prosthetic dick that he would want to reveal that or keep it a secret in a sense "yes that's mine" - just so that he won't appear without courage to actually show what he's got? And also, don't want to offend anyone, but aren't Americans a bit prudes when it comes to nudity on screen? I don't know if that is the right word, English is my 4th-5th language lol so bare with me. I remember that when Sin City 2 poster came out the American cinematographers went into panic because Eva Green's nipple was showing on the poster. That was in 2014.

Even way back in 2002, Jake Gylenhaal didn't want to accept the role in french movie The Dreamers because he was needed to show a lot of nudity, jerking off and flacid penis and his agent was worried that this role would end Jake's chance to have a movie career -- the role then went to Michael Pitt. But again, that was French movies, French movies are known for explicit sex scenes, not for shocking values. Like you said, European movies are more open (although, Croatia is very careful, we're not even close to get a gay scene on TV, even if there is a gay character in Croatian sitcom is very stereotypical, dressed in pink, extreme feminine mannerisms, and high pitch voice, but that's another story).

On that note, Lena Headay had a bodydouble on that naked walk of shame scene, which was filmed here in Croatia, and locals went mental over that.

Anyways, Gylenhaal later did a movie with Anne Hathaway, Love and Other Drugs, and they were pretty much naked majority of the movie, and when they had first interviews they were asked about that and saying like "oh yeah, the director stripped naked and went into bad with us, just so we were comfortable with anyone in the set" like, I mean man, what kind of job is that? I think they are saying that stuff just for promotion, just so that it sounds more fun, more edgy.

The second gif in your reply (the first guy that comes out of the shower), that obviously is a prosthetic, dicks doesn't jump on their own up and down when someone is walking that way. Do they?

The scenes are hot for sure, as I mention Boogie Nights with Mark Wahlberg, when he pulls out that 12-inch long dick out of his pants :cold_sweat::rolleyes: Of course it's prosthetic but still

All smokes and mirrors I guess

America is more reserved but HBO has always been an exception. We had Oz in the early 2000s with Law & Order: SVU 's (huge show in the US) Chris Melonie showing hole and 90210's/Riverdale (another huge teen show) Luke Perry showing peen.

HBO and Showtime have always been a trailblazers. Body doubles occur and prosthetics are a thing but it's a peron to person decision. Obviously everyone knows what's expected or negotiated when they join a set.

All the women from Sex and the City, minus Sarah Jessica Parker were topless at one point or another. SJP specifically made it a part of her contract from day one that she would never show her breasts.

The stuff about Jake is true and I love that you named one of my favorite movies, especially when I was a teenager :). But I think a lot of people are stuck on a version of the US from the Bush era when Janet Jackson's career could be torpedoed due to a wardrobe malfunction. Comparing the 2000s to today is like comparing the sex filled disco 70s to the uptight late 50s or early 60s. Times are and have changed. You still wont see a breast or cock on CBS, NBC, FOX, MTV, FX, or the CW (popular middle America channels). But America is also the porn capital of the world, so do we really need sex on TV when we produce so much quality to shit porn?

Mark Walberg is a hypocritical prude so he's not a great example and his character needed a loooonnnggg cock so a prosthetic would have been used on anyone. Boogie Nights is another favorite of mine. :)

P.S. I'd love to visit Croatia in 2022! Met a guy from there, he stole my heart lol. Cheers from the US!

I think nudity in movies should be artful, not porny and definitely not "uh look what we dare to do". Let it be where it fits to be. There is also one series called VIKINGS, I was on Season 3 when I realised I am watching the censored version, not only blood but also nudity was censored. I watched again uncensored version, I haven't missed that much, few cocks here and there, nothing special so I wasn't even that bothered to wonder if they are real or prosthetic lol

Thanks for taking time to explain all this bud  I live and learn, you made some interesting points

Why do you think so many of us are sad about the fake? Cause he is beautiful!
Lol we still debating this? Thought it was confirmed a few pages back? I think it’s real. I don’t see why it wouldn’t be.

To be fair - most of those A-listers were not A-listers when they showed cock except for Ben Affleck (if it was real) and possibly Chris Pine (but he's arguably not quite A-list)

I was hoping at the Christmas party when Harry and Gus where in the room with the Arab, he would tell them to fuck each other.

what was interesting is that Usman snorted coke out of Robert's hole. The fact that he was willing to drop trou and bend over shows the character's fluidity in pleasing clients.

As much as I’ve tried to convince myself that it’s his real dick, I think I’ve now resigned myself that it’s a prosthetic. I keep seeing the circular outline of the stick on bush, and the weird bulges that I think must be where his real package is underneath.
