Looooved Heartstoppers, but yeah they didn’t have much chemistry. I’m sure Kit is straight in real life, and Joe doesn’t personally strike me as the most talented actor (yet), but… it didn’t ruin the show. They were really good anyway!

Totally agree with you on this. Superbly acted (by everyone, not just Kit and Joe) and yes, it was almost page to screen. Beautiful, heartwarming and emotional.

With all the bad press Netflix has been getting lately and the surge of popularity of heartstopper not renewing it would cement Netflix’s death. They will do at least a season 2

Furthermore the author of the graphic novels has said it'd likely be four seasons to cover the material it's based on.
Personally I'd rather everyone have as little knowledge of her as possible, because otherwise it'll take minutes for the avalanche of toxic, jealous gay trolls to start harrassing and bullying her right off social media, thus souring the experience for Kit also.

He comes up really straight to me to be honest, also it is weird to ask a teen about his sexual orientation, I don't think it is appropriate. But I don't think he is gay or bi. Especially after watching all the interviews how he just talked around those questions...and he doesn't look comfortable talking about it...
