I've worn thongs exclusively for years and women seem to love it, and I'm slowly wearing smaller swimsuits when I go swimming and women have said I look good. So I think on a small scale they actually do like it.
But I feel the same way about flaunting a bulge and/or wearing leggings. Women have massive tits and show them off without a second thought but it's weird if I don't look like a real-life Ken doll all the time?
There are definitely some aesthetic double-standards, but I think it's slowly turning around.
