Both having a second person in the room AND most certainly having them repeat the same procedure.

In a training session, you would have the trainee perform the investigation and only offer additional palpation if they were uncertain of their findings.

You are absolutely right, of course. Call it professional compulsion. Things *can* go wrong, even without the physician intending so. I happened upon another video in this thread

And from what I understand, people felt that the instruction was done unprofessionally or that the doctor was too chatty, or something, but in my opinion, he did a remarkable job (it helps to have a highly co-operative patient)
It’s also a good example of things going not quite as planned: he exerted a fair amount of tensile force while carrying out a pinch and roll of the glans. I fully understand why he did (there was some retraction), but he also banked on the patient having few to none remaining nerve endings due to his neonatal circumcision.
While this is a fairly safe assumption, we (in Europe) would never carry out this procedure as shown unless you’d want to elicit a (hemi-)erection (and obviously, inform the patient beforehand).
However, there does seem to be some vestigial sensation (although the patient did not show any signs of discomfort). Had the doctor not been as proficient, there might have been a slight chance of a hemi-erection (but not through the doctor’s fault)

Well, be skeptics, but that's the way it happened. The doctors are gay ( there are only three) and I did give permission for the asst to be in the room and do the exam. Sorry you have gone to such lengths to try to disprove it, but, you can remain skeptical. That's your prerogative.

To be fair, most of what I wrote was about another post.
The part in bold is something you left out, but even then, it would require some lengthy explanation why you would subject a random patient to such an intimate investigation for instruction purposes, only.
In particular because this is something covered during their training.

I went to get my semi-annual check-up a couple days ago and to deal with a bit of numbness at the tip of my penis. The dr said that the asst. was going to do the swabs, which made me happy. So, I knelt on the exam chair and thrust out my ass, exposing my hole. He spread my cheeks, inspected the anal region , and then inserted the swab. After the swabbing, I was told I could pull up my pants, which I did, and prepared for the oral swab. All my tests came out negative, fortunately. Hello. I even stopped posting my stories here. I don't know if negative people can't bear to discover that the lives of other human beings are more incredible than theirs! This thread has made me, once again, realize how lucky I am to have a great doctor.

He has more than 900 patients, but in every visit with him, he knows me well, as if we had an appointment last week.

He is comfortable to talk with about anything, including my sexuality, and even ED, without a trace of being judgmental.

He works at a clinic that is the very definition of "Doctors Without Borders".

Is it so strange that a young guy when transitioning from a pediatrician to an adult doctor would go to his father's doctor ? I was 18 and going off to college and needed a physical exam for the health forms.
