I was working down there for almost 18 months, wish I had known about this! Looks like a mens only, and assume nude, hot tub in the locker room also! Nice!

I don't understand why there isn't a hybrid model more often. Six open shower heads and two or three closed stalls so that everybody can make a choice. Cubicles just double the wet surface area in a shower and create dark slimy corners and shower curtains have to be continually replaced. If you want to be puritanical then go hide in one of the cubicles. After a workout one day I was feeling fairly light-headed and between the steam of the shower and the workout I almost passed out. After that, I opened my shower curtain and finished my shower quickly and sat down. Since then, if there is a shower curtain or a door, I will always leave it open. A couple months ago and attendant walk through the shower area and closed my shower curtain mumbling something as he walked by. I ripped it open, stuck my head out and told him I need to leave it open and quickly shared my pass out story and I'm not sure he bought it......

This is a recently converted (in the past 6 months) YMCA.

Its connected to a hospital and thus attracts predominantly doctors, nurses etc hospital staff .

Theres definitely some play that you can find in the steam room if you are into older white daddy types.

To be honest, its a bitch to get to if not living in the area and Id NOT rcmnd it especially since western NC has so many other 5 star ⭐️ gyms ie Winston Salem Y, Dowd Charlotte, High Point etc and those are all much easier to reach.

They have fallen out of favor and most have been demolished for individual showers for the new modest generation. Much has been lost in terms of comradery and when you are naked, you are vulnerable and that's not in vogue anymore.

Community Center in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Very rare to find Bradley showers. I wonder if they're used much?

Ive used the one in Gatlinburg many times. And it was never crowded..at the busiest when I was there was only 3 other guys. I think all male showers and locker rooms should be open and free. Let em hang boys! Show off the goods!
