Open Showers

I’m only 37 but prior military and my buddies and I would literally be in the shower for a good 20 or so mins talking about random shit. That’s why I think everyone should be mandated to serve in the military for 2 years. People need to get over this nudity modest stuff.

Exactly once you're over the hump you're over the hump and a lifetime of panicking over being nude is done.

Does anyone else feel slightly uncomfortable when naked in changing rooms when you are above average

I use to at first but my package combined with my body has given me a ton of confidence! I love being naked though so I guess I never really cared.

Yes, the conversation is the "male bonding" experience. It puts all of you on an equal plain, regardless of dick size.

I am a nudist. I have never been bothered about being naked. I find nudism an extremely healthy emotional and social experience. I say that nudism is not about sex, because if it is, you shouldn't be doing it.

I think as time goes by we as a society are becoming ashamed of our bodies and we have the people that shame others for not having the bodies they. Think we all should have ..

But then they turn around thinking we should be honored and blessed for seeing perfection.. .. there’s no such thing as perfection.. we all no matter how perfect we think we are have flaws. Physical and mental as the mental state of the people with big egos. Make it rough for those who are proud of who they are..

I have an open shower outside .. no one can see me as I live in country.. but I enjoy being outside naked showering out in the open with no one to tell me their opinion about my imperfections.. but to feel the sun on top of me as the wind blows through as I shower is awesome and I do t have jerks telling me to get inside

Definitely agree with conscription - would probably make people less self-centered, boot camp will humble anyone & maybe reduce the level of cockiness (although sometimes it does the opposite, unfortunately).

Even though I'd always played sports and showered openly & during alligator hunting season, its open showering at the end of the day, I was still awkward, uncomfortable about showering openly. But, by my 1st PRT, I was totally over any issues of self-consciousness; talking about the same stuff as before showering. Although our unit's PRT was in a pressurized chamber, so we were so exhausted - any thoughts other than being worn out was out the window.

I think all of the modesty, self-consciouness, etc... was drilled into me by the nuns above anything else. Like everything they said - the quicker I got their nonsense & guilt-trips out of my head - the better.

LifeTime Fitness is awful. People are afraid of any sudlle nudity. Went on a tour to sign up.. Wanted to use gym and hot tub, everyone was in suits and covering up too much. Like its in the locker room, i was surprised why is there a hot tub in locker room if you are all covered up
