Any open showes in Barcelona. I was in one about 2 years ago it was a very large sports centre but just can't find it. It was good. No sex, not looking for that just being among naked men.

The men in Berlin are becoming self- conscious about nudity in showers with other men. They wear underwear in the showers and put their hands over cock and balls when in shower. Things have changed.

Right! I live in Berlin and the problem is the foreigners, there's a lot of them that get shower with underwear and then the Germans are like "I will not be the only one walking here naked " (that's what I think)... in my gym everyone is naked in the sauna area but not in the normal showers anymore and also there's a lot of guys that don't understand spy/discretion and just stay there watching direct to cocks and that makes the guys uncomfortable

Not super uncommon in the US, at least for athletes.

I’m only in my 20s, but my middle school, high school, and college locker rooms all had open showers.

Showering wasn’t required for the sports teams, but was basically expected after practice and games.

Showering with your teammates is part of the camaraderie of being on a team. Back in my day, a hundred years ago, no one would think twice about trying to skip out on the team shower.

Pretty much all the showers I used at college and university were the open gang style, typically a dozen shower heads in a room. This was from mid 80s until around 2000... Then the cubicles started to creep in at gyms.

Kind of miss the old style, playing sports with friends and showering afterwards. Felt like a real bond between you all.

I recall the first time I saw someone in the open shower showering in their underwear and it was kind of surreal. Why is he doing that? Insecurity? Culture? Does he not know he draws even more attention to himself by doing so? At some point you have to cross the finish line and say "this is me" and the joy of being nude takes over otherwise a lifetime of insecurity and angst takes over.

They created a petition and insisted that the shower room have dividers. The manager put clear plexiglass with no curtains, so they got 'dividers'; when they complained about this, he told them they should have been more specific; they asked for dividers, not cubicles. They still shower in their underwear.

The problem is that people feel their beliefs and wants should be oppressed on any and everyone else. If you do not feel that nakedness is appropriate then go to a place where everyone is covered up. A locker room, shower, sauna and steam room (in separate areas) is supposed to be used in the purest form - NAKED! I love the openess towards nudity that is enjoyed around the world where they even have coed nudity! Its not that big a deal as we are all born naked and should not be shamed nor forced to wear clothes in places where clothes are not to be worn.

Unfortunately, there are not enough people standing up and saying, "NO, we are not putting up dividers and curtains because YOU do not want to be seen naked!"

Get over yourselves people and I believe that if more people are naked, the world would be a happier place regardless of where you are from and what you believe!

At gyms across the US they have dumped open showers because the "new generation" couldn't handle them so they ripped out the open showers and installed individual showers but surprise surprise surprise they still don't use them because well yes you have still have to disrobe somewhere in the locker room and nowhere is really acceptable if there is a possibility someone might see you without being clothed.

Dry off after and make the same uncovered walk back. Towels are for drying off with and sitting on int the steam/sauna - NEVER for wrapping or covering up.

That is a good point about drawing attention to one's self by showering in one's under garments.
