Should I Have My Frenulum Removed?

Here are 4 pictures of my frenulum.
I am uncut - but like to roll back most of the time (I’ve even considered circumcision)
What do you think about how this looks right now?
It is kind of tight - and the sensitivity it has is not one that helps me sexually.
I have read about frenulectomy and frenuloplasty.
I’m intrigued and keen!
Can anyone offer any thoughts, advice, experiences, suggestions?
Thanks for the feedback!

Hey Man - nice cock.
I wouldn't let anyone with a knife near my/your cock because once its gone, then its gone.
I am also uncut but had thought for years to get circumcised until I was chatting with a guy who spent years growing his back (lenghthynarther on YT) and changed my mind on the whole thing. I love it (now)

In Australia, you can (with a prescription) get an ointment that is used to loosen up a foreskin if its too tight. When I was younger, mine tightened right up overnight (from overactive wanking probably), I went to the GP and got this ointment. I think it was about 14AUD. maybe 16AUD.

In my case, mine got so tight and this ointment sorted it out almost immediately. If It works on foreskin, then it should work on your frenulum. Probably a case of ointment, and careful stretching of the area in combination. But worth speaking with your GP in any case.

I'll find the name of it and its US equivalent and will attach asap.

The downside is that I now have reduce sensitivity on the frenum's area in regards to how it was before.
There isn't the slight tug on the penis head with you're jerking or fucking as the loose skin moves.
I really do miss that feeling at times when penetrating during sex, but also love the current aesthetics.

This pretty much sums up my feelings, had my frenulum removed under local anestetics about 2,5 years ago.

I did not have an really short frenulum, but some tendencies, and for some reasons I got radiating pains from the area that would not go away or easy pop up after masturbation.

So some loss in senastion is to be expected, you cannot overlook that, with that said my penis works fine and I am content right now as it stands.

The frenulum need not be fully removed, it can be detached from the glans and a bit removed at the top but rest left. That is what I did while semi ciut once I found out that during erection, it was causing glans to bend down a bit and wanted glans to stand tall.

Note: after I got fully cut, the frenulum remnant because more of a lump and it wasn't a hard decision to get rid of it all.

Sorry for image quality, but in the 1990s, cameras weren't as fancy as now !

So helpful - and looks great.
I’m just kind of tempted now to have my doc just do a full circumcision. He does sleeve resection and frenulum removal typically.

I still feel I don’t have a good and clear definition and differences of high vs. low - would appreciate more detail from folks, and - if possible - pics.
Unclear to me the differences and details of internal and external foreskin, too...
Thanks, all of you!
Hey mate, I had my frenulum removed about 2 years ago as when i got hard it slightly started to pull the head down like a fishing rod. I went to a urologist and discussed options, he recommended removing it. I had it done through diathermy (electrically heated scalpel) wick cauterises (heat seals off blood vessels) as it cuts. I could then also get my PA piercing put in (I couldn't previously as it would have rubbed too much). My recommendations are to discuss it with a urologist, and see what options suit you best. Only the best for your prized possession (I can send you some pics through PM or Skype if you want)

That sounds great! Did you consider circumcision too? Was that discussed.
I would love to see pics please - thank you!

Circumcision as an adult has higher rates of complications and currently the indication is purely cosmetic not medical. If you had persistent oaraphimosis or something similar then it would be warranted, and there is emerging research from the World Health Organisation that shows a slightly lower rate of STIs in those who are circumcised but it wouldn't be enough to warrant the procedure. If it's something you are considering discuss it with your urologist as they would be the one performing it. I'll send some pics across soon

Look forward to the pics

I am uncircumcised a frenulectomy Done last year because when I got
Hard my erections would only be denim and my frenulum was to tight causing the bend like a fishing rod. I did have my choice of getting circumcised but I wanted to keep my foreskin. It's more sensitive now then before.

Great to know!
Sounds very good.
Did they simply offer you the circ when they planned the frenulectomy?

I had a short frenullum that was very tight when getting hard. At the age of 12 I teared my frenullum when masturbating. It was a small wound that healed fast. A few years later it teared again. Never went to a doctor. It just healed.
I'm 68 years now. I always kept a sensitive frenullum. About 15 years ago I had to see an urologist. He also checked my frenullum and told me that nowadays that problems with a tight frenullum like I had is solved with a tiny cut which takes away the tension. He called it lengthening of the frenullum.
In my country almost all men are uncut. Circumcision is only done if there is a medical reason. A few men have it done for cosmetic reasons.
I would advise you to forget the circumcision. There is no reason to have that done.
