True.. and perhaps not surprising. We can't know, however, if they're rally "tighty whities". They might by lycra or some other material in a sports brief. I'd be surprised if they were, say, Jockey briefs.
Certainly true, tho' I've written elsewhere about being in an Ivy League student store and how their underwear rack has boxers, of course, but also classic Jockey white fill rise briefs. I can't imagine any students wearing this now.
This pic, however, reminds me precisely of how I looked in my formative years, looking at myself in my mirror, wearing white jockeys, watching my cock snake up the side and get bigger over the years, and leaving a big spot of wet precut on that single layer of the brief. Fuckin hot to this day.

My guess is that they are cotton briefs, perhaps even white ones. A lycra sports briefs would be a very light material that probably would not show obvious briefs lines. Enlarge the picture and it is even more obvious.
I got a couple sexy Nasty Pig brand briefs but rarely do I wear them unless I'm lounging at the house or in preparation of sexytimes. Most of the time I stick with boxer briefs. Can't do commando, I like the hugging of boxer briefs and without them he gets tangled up

definitely! I do wear these today and TBH I havent seen any otehr students wear them but have seen a few wear white briefs (mostly CK) . I have some fit issues with CK
Don't wear the traditional cotton full rise briefs; like the low rise briefs with a polyester blend

I am very in favour of the older style flyfront full cut high waist briefs like Jockey Y-fronts or Bonds S'port briefs, been wearing them for years on and off, and yes it is a habit I picked up from my dad.
Wish more young guys would wear them before they disappear from the shops etc.

Yes, for a certain generation, they are still hot, tho' even I confess they look a bit diapery to me. However, they bring back memories of exploring the marvelous act of beating off all those "developing" years.
