What's for dinner?

Copenhagen turkey burgers at Flippers. Ground turkey meat, beets, blue cheese, walnuts, lettuce, tomato. Big french fries and mixed salad.

Corned beef in the pressure cooker. Potatoes, carrots, garlic, and celery with seasonings and herbs. (also in the pressure cooker)

In no particular order this week I'm making these dishes for dinner: curried lamb/lentil stew, Caribbean Meat Pasties/Pies, chili rellenos, and cilantro pesto + pasta. Haven't figured out the sides yet, other than salad and fresh baked bread for some of the nights

Roast pork loin stuffed with plums and topped with a mushroom sauce and scalloped potatoes and steamed asparagus with a lemon sauce. No dessert for me because this is a fairly hevy meal there is a cheese cake in the refrigerator that keeps calling my name every time I open the door.

For the love of humanity, please have a slice of cheesecake for me

The cheese cake is gone... a neighbor came over for coffee and dessert last night and I sent it home with them....
Tonight I'm making chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and corn on the cob and I've got a chocolate-pecan pie in the oven.

Lamb Souvlaki.

I got the lamb shoulder marinating in olive oil, garlic, grated lemon zest and bulk amounts of rubbed oregano ready for slow roasting.

I've got my sides already prepped and sitting in the fridge.

I can't wait!

It's still cold out here so I made a homemade chicken potpies. They were cute, with their own little pie plate and so on. Real easy, and smelled so good baking. No dessert here either, but I made chocolate covered brownie ice cream sandwiches yesterday and I know they are in the freezer beckoning me.....

mint chocolate and mint irish lace? sounds yummy. But what is irish lace?

Our local farm shop has 'Maple Bacon Ice Cream." Interesting.....not a bacon fan myself, but I can see where the sweet and salty might work.

the irish lace is a green mint ice cream that has tiny bits of chocolate running thru it. went to jp licks. don't know how close to boston you are, and, if you've ever been to jp licks.

and with the jimmies...........it was minty chocolate goodness. :)

JP Licks. Mmmm...nope, not been there. I'm about an hour and a half west of Boston. But I love to go there and hit the Cheesecake Factory -- odd, I never have the cheesecake....but I love their salads.

Ice cream sounds great, by the way. Love mint and chocolate.
