What's for dinner?

one big meal a day so: salad with it. dressing, sirloin medium, baked potato with all but sour cream, and sweet tea. We ate out.

Leftover bbq chicken
One of my favorites!

Another one of my favorites... but I like the sour cream. I'm having left over chicken pot pie from last night.

Steamed Salmon filet on a bed of rucola, spring onions, avocado, broccoli, brussel sprouts, finely chopped chilies, 1 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar, 2 tbsp. of exquisite olive oil that I buy at a small shop in Vienna that is beautifully rich and smooth enough to drink as a shot, freshly grated horse radish, chopped dill, coriander, parsley and a pinch of salt and fresh pepper.A slice of warm freshly baked pure rye bread. BYOB

soba noodles with kale, tofu, and furikake.
cold brew tea.
strawberries, honey and sticky rice.

It's not even 11:30 I have no idea what's for dinner. I'll know when 1 of you gets here and starts preparing it.:biggrin1:

Quinoa salad.

Interesting nutty flavor.
I cooked the quinoa using the absorption method in chicken stock.
Turned out really well.

It was cold, drab and rainy today...I needed some comfort food...so...

I made a huge pot of beef chili with dark kidney beans, lots of
diced tomatoes, hot chili peppers, onions, garlic, various spices.
and some extra dark chocolate pieces stirred in.

A long, fresh loaf of crusty French bread...warmed in the oven
so it made an awesome aroma in the room.

A salad of baby spinich leaves, red onions slices, goat cheese, red seedless grapes, and papaya cubes....with a touch of rice vinegar, olive oil and cracked black pepper.

and to wash it all down...

Iced, unsweetened tea.

Ummmm, good!

I have no idea what quinoa is. I'm such an unsophisticate. I had a cobb salad at a chain establishment. Ho hum!

Salami sandwich on sweet onion roll with mayo, spicy brown mustard, thinly sliced red onions, peperoncini, and a dollop of Crosse and Blackwell caramelized onion chutney for good measure.
