We don’t even know if it’s a legit engagement or just another way to keep staying in the press. We don’t know anything, especially with this dude. But I highly doubt they were dating for long before he revealed to the press. Either way, it ain’t really our business.

Just that he had a typical sex life for a young, attractive, and horny gay man. Lots of hookups. He wasn't the virgin that the network insisted on presenting him as in "The Bachelor," unless the only definition of virginity is penetrative intercourse with someone of the opposite sex. (Which, admittedly, for many people I suppose it still is.)

What's somewhat odd for me about Colton is how quickly he did a 180 from deeply closeted to icon for outness. That's something you don't see often in "real life." In my experience, that transition doesn't happen immediately. But Colton has packaged his life for public consumption, so he's not typical.

I'm really happy for Colton. I hope he and Jordan make each other really happy. Watching his Netflix docuseries, it was super obvious he wanted to settle down and have kids. Not every gay guy has to sleep around, you know guys? If this makes them happy, let them be.

As regards how long should two people date before getting married, it truly depends. Sometimes people just click and work really well together. My parents dated for 2 months before getting married, and they were still happily married my dad passed away some years ago. On the other hand, my best friend dated a guy for six years, got married, and now they're divorcing after 2+ years.

These things don't really matter. Sometimes marriages work, sometimes they don't. There isn't a magic recipe you can follow to make things work.

It's after the first commercial break. He said "I'm a fair guy. A little bit of this a little bit of that." But what happened was is he told Andy the answer to the question during the break to which messy Andy told the audience that Colton had answered it and asked him what answer he gave.
