Colton underwood- american football player

This whole marriage seems like a really bad idea... Colton barely just came out less than a year ago, he's now engaged to hisvery first serious bf who seems a bit controlling... red flags are all over this. I wish Colton the best but he didn't seem to have gotten the help he needed for his mental health and now he's running into a marriage with a controlling man... I really hope my intuition is wrong, but yeah...

And this is exactly why I said I was concerned. I don't know if the dude is controlling or not, and I don't want to make that assumption. That said it's only been 8 months, and he's been out just over or under a year! I hope I'm dead wrong and everything turns out to be excellent, but at the moment it's just too off for me.

my degree is psychology thanks you.
Any actual psychologist would refuse to diagnose anything without meeting the patient. And a degree in psychology does not make you a psychologist licensed to practice. Have you heard of ethics?

did I diagnose anything? No. I just said there were a lot of red flags. Period.

Psychologists are regularly asked to give their opinion of someone without ever meeting them during trials... It's not a diagnosis, it's a professional opinion based on observations.

Are you officially licensed? A degree in psychology does not make a psychologist.

Whether i'm licensed or not doesn't matter. I gave my opinion, which is valid and you questioned it's validity. Everyone is qualified to have an opinion and voice that opinion, that opinion may not be correct but it's still valid. You have a right to believe the Earth is flat, it's your opinion, the Earth is not flat and that is a proven fact, but your opinion is still valid even if it's not factually correct.

Someone's opinion that the earth is flat is not valid. Lol. They have a right to their own opinion but opinions can be wrong, immoral and untrue. Do you think that a racist has valid opinions? Surely not.

fine maybe that wasn't the correct word to use or the right excample. English is not my first language, but MY opinion is still valid based on my observations of this situation. It might get invalidated in the future, but it's currently as valid as anyone else's.

I just don't think that rushing into a marriage so quickly after the stalking of Cassie, the suicide attempt, the very recent coming out and the very recent relationship, especially after having next to no experience in relationships would be a good idea for anyone.

The whole point of LPSG is to gossip about people we don't know. And look at nude photos of other people we don't know.
I’m just here to look at dick.

Im not concerned about the dick.

Because I don’t know the dick.

The dick doesn’t pay my bills.

I will likely never meet the dick.

I hope the best for the dick.

Dude, your reply was literally "my degree is in psychology" clearly implying that you think you have the expertise to have a valid opinion, which you definitely don't if you do not have a graduate degree (PhD if you are from Quebec) and a license to practice.

Well, the threads about people, who aren't pornstars, in the Models & Celebrities Area (where we are) often revolve around discussing their lives, as inaccurate as we might be. People can have random opinions about Colton's relationship. Not really getting why that's controversial. Obviously we don't know him personally.

If photos of his cock ever come to light, then we can silently admire his cock. But until then...

The very definition of validity is " the quality of being logically or factually sound; soundness or cogency."

You have no fact. Instagram and twitter do not count, and unfortunately neither do LPSG blog posts.

Yeah I'm not getting too involved in this relationship stuff. I think everyone here is entitled to their own opinions certainly. I can agree with you that it feels too soon myself. Not adding any more than that. Lol

But I just wanted to correct that flat earth thing. That's all. Lol.

NOT TRUE. I got my Ph'D in Psychology from Lena Dunham's Online University in 14 days where I learned by example to pass judgement and deliver diagnosis when I don't have a fuckin clue what I'm talking about.
