@Mercurygirl: I never really got Jeff Buckley but everyone I knew adored him. I think my problem was that the first thing I ever heard by him was a cover of The Smiths' "I Know It's Over," which I feel very intensely about, so I probably never gave him a chance. But recently I read where Morrissey listed his 20 favorite albums and *Grace* was in there. I've been meaning to listen again with an open mind. He was a beautiful man. I had a crush on Amy Winehouse so I can sympathize.

I guess I could tag along behind her carrying her sword and those big metal disc-things, maybe. I did have a crush on Gabrielle though. She seemed like she might at least let me rub her feet or something, after a hard day of kicking ass.

@Fade: Tilda Swinton is phenomenally attractive, and made even more so by the fact that she has a fifty-something husband and a twenty-something lover whom she takes everywhere together. I completely approve.

I met Rod Stewart at a party just a few years ago. He would not let go of my hand! I'm serious. I had to walk with him as he met other people. I just met the man, and he was holding on to my like I was his daughter or something. Finally, after about 10 minutes he kissed my hand and set "it's so good to be with you, love."

I guess I was kind of a fan of some of his stuff, but I never had a crush on him or anything. I think he may have gotten the wrong impression.

not really.. I see actors and musicians I think are hot but none I would "crush" on ... at least not after I became an adult.
I'm not really carried away by famous people. I realize they are real people just like everyone else. I don't get giddy or tongue tied.
I've actually run into famous people and just said "excuse me" and went right on by.
