I know from interviews he’s said like a lot of roles even if they’re smaller I think he’s taking if he’s drawn to them. Like blood for dust because he liked the cruel character and it’s different, baby ruby because of him becoming a father, slave play because of how it made him feel. I do think he’s at heart he loves the stage though

Kit has yet to show he can be anything beyond moody with hunky. He’s a good-looking dude with just passable talent. Some of those types can sustain a prominent career. Some can’t. While as good-looking as he is, there’s also nothing that distinguishing about his looks, talent or personality. He can still get a big role in the future. But most people don’t have major success after a huge TV show.
