thanks for posting this great painting 'De val de titanen' (Fall of the Titans) by Cornelis Cornelisz. van Haarlem. It is found at the National Art Museum in Copenhagen, just a few kilometers from where I live - whenever I go there, I always enjoy this painting (not the least for the bubble butt). At the same museum we have another painting by the same artist called 'Allegory on the shortness of life'

I had wondered, Are the butterflies as fig leafs present in the original painting?

"Allegory on the shortness of life" - probably the most important theme any of us can consider.
