Racism in the LGBT community.

I must admit that I am shocked. This may be a reality in other countries. In France, although I am black, I have never experienced racism. What bothered me was being approached only for all the stereotypes about my skin color. We must not forget that there are also preferences. I see a lot of guys put on the apps, interested in black only or white only or guy for Arab.

Sooooooooo there’s that lol And if you had darker skin you would know that it already stands out and it eliminates me from half of the dating pool even a large portion of black people where I live do to colorism. What do you want me to get a sign ? They’d probably take it down and throw it at me but even if they didn’t, they’d never look at me as a attractive because as soon as they see that im dark skinned on Grindr or tinder they block me . There should be an Olympic sport called “blocking” cause I’ve been blocked in record times . Yes you’re wrong- I was already totally attracted to black men (and women) but had not yet expressed it in any meaningful way until I was assaulted (yes, I acknowledge that it was a sexual assault and yes I have been through therapy and processed my complex emotions around the experience).
I wanted it and they picked up on it- they were young too so clearly someone had either done inappropriate things to them or had otherwise at least exposed them to the idea - so I don’t blame them. So while it was a traumatic experience and has reverberated throughout my life I don’t consider myself a victim and I wouldn’t change it if I could. It was the way I learned how to submit and that it was natural for me to want it. It was the realization of my secret fantasies that I thought made me a freak with no hope of a happy life / the experience actually gave me hope that I wasn’t the only one and that there were kings who were into dicking down whiteboys

I find that the USA has different race relations than other countries. And, yes, pretty much everywhere there is racism. But I find it manifests differently. In most countries, what I see is that the LGBT community is less racist than the average and interracial relationships are very, very common. But I do not discount the experiences that I read on this thead. I feel sorry and sad people still have to go through what you guys are going through. It's very shocking and appaling and, as I said, a little different than what I see elsewhere.

Also a group titled large penis support group is going to be somewhat self selective, maybe niche, not for everyone, not your run of the mill every day person. My point is that this is maybe a very diverse group, coming from a wide variety of experiences, cultures, backgrounds, groups, etc. we’re not meeting in person, a lot of non verbal communication is lost. Lmao this is crazy , I’m just gonna say it if you didn’t want people to “argue” why did you create a thread on a controversial topic ? Also people argue in every thread on every social media app on everything. People are arguing across the world . Your asking for something that your not gonna get regardless because that’s just the state of being. And a lot of times I don’t think people are arguing, I think people are having heated discussions and that’s real. That’s what you should promote tbh. Not everyone thinks the same , everyone has a different experience. But at the end of the day , instead of yelling don’t argue offer solutions. Solutions work better .

There are solutions it’s literally in your name REBRAND . Do what your known for daddy. A solution would be saying from 1-3 y’all can argue everyday and then after that we will have different subjects and questions asked and anyone who answers must be polite and respectful in the response. I don't necessarily think it is true. I'm Mexican and I do get noticed by white men, typically older white men. Don't know if it's a fetish or kink thing but it does happen believe it or not.
