I never criticize a guy who is overweight and trying to do something about it because when I joined my Y, I was 40 pounds heavier and looked like shit. I couldn't even get one of the towels the Y provides around my waist because I was a 37" waist. Now that I'm a 32" waist I can easily get it around my waist and have it stay there without popping off when I move. It was a tough road, and it took years to get all of that weight off. I also went from a L to S underwear, and an XL to M shirt.

However, that being said, I detest these disgustingly overweight guys that don't exercise and hang out nude in the locker room for hours on end. I don't want to be exposed to their revolting body for a prolonged period of time. It seems that some of them go out of their way to be naked in front of me as much as possible. I don't know why they think anyone would want to see them naked. There have been quite a few guys at my Y with bellies hanging down to their knees that literally needed to lose at least 100 pounds. When I was 40 pounds overweight (anorexic compared to these guys), I was ashamed of my body even though I was trying hard to lose it through a strict diet and regular intense exercise. It's like these guys don't care at all. There was one guy I nicknamed "Shamu" because he was 200 pounds overweight, and would lounge naked in the hot tub rolling around for at least an hour ensuring that anyone else who wanted to use it wouldn't do so with him in there. He was so huge that when he was in the shower and took the head next to yours, his body would invade part of your personal space. I used to take the shower head the furthest away from him in the open shower room, and I would still get splashed by water bouncing off his grotesquely obese body making me feel that I had to wash all over again. I couldn't just wait for him to finish up because he would literally be in there for hours. Who has that kind of time to wait? I NEVER saw this guy on the gym floor. He would moan to anyone that would listen about how awful he felt, and how his doctor ordered him to lose weight. Obviously he was doing nothing to make this happen. I haven't seen him in years now. I think he may have died because he was that grossly overweight.

Another grossly overweight guy used to stare at me with his jaw dropped whenever I entered the locker room which completely unnerved me. One time he actually moved across the locker room to put on his shoes on the bench right behind the locker I had just selected! I guess he wanted a close up of me changing. I was so pissed off that I picked up my bag and moved to other end of the locker room to get changed swearing under my breath to let him know that I didn't appreciate such blatant perving. This was another guy that needed to lose at least 200 pounds, but would swim for only 5 minutes before using the locker room for hours on end. I still see him once in awhile, but avoid him as much as possible. Honestly, when guys look this gross and are standing right in front of me naked, I don't even look lower than their neck. Why would they think that anyone would want to check them out looking like that? I would like to point out that these guys always target guys like me that are in good physical shape. They never target guys that look like them because they are just as disgusted by obese guys as us fit guys are. It begs the question, why do they think we want to see them naked when they are just as grossed out by guys that look like them as we are? To fit guys that have busted their butts to get in shape (like I did), we are even more repulsed by seeing obese bodies than they are!

I usually ignore creepy guys in the locker room. When a creepy guy stares i just let them. They can look all they want, no harm done really. But there were 2 instances when i had to confront guys. when guys try to take a picture usually it’s hard to tell. False assumptions can lead to a fight and i might subsequently get banned. One time though a guy took a pic and his flash went on. I asked him to delete the pic or else I’m gonna report him. Never saw him again, maybe he went to the gym on different hours to avoid me. Another guy took a pic pointing directly at my bare ass. He probably thought I didn’t notice. I called him out. He had this lame excuse that he was playing pokemon go. Pretty convenient that the pokemon appeared directly on my ass. He didn’t want to show his phone gallery to prove he didn’t take a pic so i called the gym staff. While waiting i made sure he didn’t touch his phone. True enough there was a pic of myself bent over. Dude was banned from the premises permanently.

The last gym I belonged to had signs saying no phone use in the locker room. Of course they also had a woman who would come in there to clean while they were open, so you can guess how well that was enforced. I lived right nearby so I would usually just go home.

A bit off-topic, forgive me (that's what two weeks not working does to you!), but spy cameras go back a lot longer than I would have thought and in the most unlikely places. On Pornhub (sorry again) there is a series called Angry Young Man that are supposed to be the locker rooms and even the medical facilities of a military barracks. Apart from locker room talk and actions (showering dressing/undressing) there are even scenes of men undergoing nude medical examinations.

There must be a bit of the voyeur in me (only on film, something I could never do in real life) but I watched one of these films and it has a 2002 copyright date on it. It occurred to me they might just have put 2002 and it was actually made more recently, but regardless of when it was made (did they have non-bulky cameras/recording gear 18 years ago?) either these films were made with the assistance of locker room or medical staff. The film seems authentic - it looked like a real locker roon, none of the men were "actorly", if that's a word - no "pretty boys" , fancy lighting or make-up or any suggestion it was a fantasy film, and the dialogue seemed too real to have been scripted. There are one or two scenes where a bloke seems to be masturbating more openly than he would in such a situation in real life, but I suspect these might have been inserts put into the film to spice it up. I often wonder if these hidden locker-room cam videos are consensual. I assume the men in these videos are paid performers, paid amatuers, exhibitionists, but never unaware. Switch the gender to female, and you would see the quickness with which a thread, and or pics about hidden cam footage would be removed if it was discovered the female was unaware, and or it was filmed without consent. I'm speaking from experience, because I am almost certain someone put a camera in a shower head, and through a toilet bowl and posted non-consensual footage of me.

That is true, but it is funny how the perception of what privacy males, especially athletic males, are entitled to, is different. Reporters, including female reporters, broadcast on live TV from inside a pro locker room, with the more-than-occasional bare butt or more (see the related thread on here) and we accept that as normal. But could you imagine a male reporter in a WNBA locker room?

That being said, that's known and I guess expected within the industry, and different than a hidden device. I turn around and in he walks into the jacuzzi. I played it off and got out to go to the pool to swim and outta nowhere, I see him go in. At this point, I wasn’t even nowhere near pissed off but more worried and freaked out. I had work/community meeting in an hour and wanted to shower so then I quickly hopped out while looking freaked out. I didn’t want to say or look at him in not wanting to give him any ideas.

I got to the showers and headed to the very last shower in the corner; the showers were a long hall, 1 on each side (8 showers, 4 on each) with a see through partition and open door. A few minutes into the shower, I hear someone walk in and proceed to come to mine, I quickly turned around to cover My front side up (dick, balls) and I hear him say “hey! I forgot my towel... he turn around.... hey!” And I turned to punk him and yell. At that moment, he got the point and quickly bounced saying he had to get ready for work and apologized.

I think there is a certain amount of checking-out that is inevitable. If you are halfway across the room they are likely not paying any attention to you (I know I typically feel pretty invisible in that environment), but if you are doing it long enough/often enough to be noticed then yeah, you might make someone uncomfortable. One thing about gyms, there are generally a lot of mirrors so someone might have his back to you but that doesn't mean he doesn't see your eyes on him.
