I decided to bake today even though I was recently put all the way off from it because my fella can be a turd sometimes. I'm not gonna let that ruin my fun tho.

Today, Brown sugar cinnamon cheesecake cookies with cinnamon icing.

Just regular cookie dough surrounding a cinnamon brown sugar cream cheese filling with cinnamon icing drizzled on top. My inspiration was the brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts.. that's my favorite flavor. So I thought since I didn't get to enjoy my last batch of Funfetti cookies I'm gonna make a pop tart inspired version today. I'll share pics in my cooking thread in Et cetera when they're done.

They sound amazing and make me want cookies but I'm due to start a diet tomorrow

I ran into someone today who I haven't still since I was pregnant before I lost my daughter. She asked me all excited how my she was and if I like being a mom.

It's been awhile since that happened. But it still does. And it still feels like a knife in my face every time.

She didn't know, so I'm not upset at her at all. But I can't get it out of my head now. I think about her all the time but sometimes triggers happen for real.

I tried.

We have chocolate biscuits in Australia called 'Tim Tams' which are A-MAH-ZING! There are many variations (the Coconut Cream ones are my favourite ).

About 10 years ago, they tried peanut-butter-flavoured ones, but CHOICE (a consumer affairs magazine/company) declared them a sham:

I finally remembered to buy baking chocolate and peanut butter to make peanut butter cookies filled with chocolate ganache.

I was gonna do the brownie cookies with peanut butter filling first, but my fella really wanted the PB cookie with chocolate filling first. So, I decided he gets to make the baking decision this time because typically I don't give him options.

Edit: ganache is made and cooling for workability.

After I run a few errands and let that cool it's PB cookie time

My fella showed up from the grocery store earlier with a package of chocolate pudding mix. He never has ever once bought or requested pudding mix.

I was like, dafuk is this for? He was like, "didn't you say you had extra chocolate ganache stuff from those cookies? Make a fuckin pie bro" and I laughed my ass off then turned chocolate ganache and pudding mix into a baked pie

It is currently cooling in my dirty ass oven

The crust is imperfect obviously. My first attempt and a pie crust from scratch and the taste? Damn good.

I winged it on the filling too.. It's PERFECT

This morning my fella had to make a quick trip outta town for a fitting he needed for a job because we don't have any have locally. He invited me for the trip and offered to let me check out the plants at the place he shops and I found a Hoya Australis I fell in love with and he bought it for me.

He didn't even find the fitting he needed. But he bought me a $20 plant just cuz I smiled like a dumbass when I saw it.

I love that fucker.

Not chemical scents. But....All the plants, just almost primordial air quality. And vibing with the green motif. And cookies. Baked goods for baked friends.

Kinda like if a forest elemental had couches.

Kinda like if a forest elemental had couches.

When I water everyone it smells like rain in my house. And when we have the hydroponic room going it smells like rain and fresh weed.

Yup. My house smells like nature in a wonderful way.

I clean often but never with scents.. I like to smell true clean fresh air.. There's nothing like it.
