Agreed. It also amazes me when members with hundreds of posts say they didn’t know you could get a gold membership for free by just verifying.

Yeah, fair points...

So I'm new here, still mooching around, getting to grips with the architecture, the culture... the wildlife... yeah...

To paraphrase Mao I have had some comments to the effect of, "no dick pic, no right to speak," but since I'm in the UK, not looking to meet anyone, nothing to prove... I'm just here for the banter.

The fact that it seems to get people's backs up does surprise me, and there is an element of 2nd class citizen... but this is why I kinda like it.

It's outside the norm.

Short answer; thinking about it but quite like the idea of seeing how far I can get on the forums as a humble black box. Flip a coin?
