Getting circumcised at 30 (U.K.)

Well a good doc will ask you what type you wish to get, but it was not a cosmetic choice for me. I would have preferred a higher scar line. But we’ll see.

The inner foreskin was the best/pleasurable part for me and it seems there is not much left, so I am a bit anxious about that and how sensitive it’ll be.
Ok

ok thanks. So it was partly medical and partly cosmetic.

Anecdotal but for myself when i had it done a couple of years back i had a low cut and the frenulum was removed but i think it still feels as sensitive as when it was there.

So far the stitches are coming off (about 10 days) but some of them got stuck in the scar, slowing the healing process so that’s not nice, but very limited to small areas so it’ll heal quickly.

Frenulum(or ex frenulum) is still healing from the burning.

So far, the low cut is quite low, and the inner foreskin really created a ridge in front to I hope that will dissipate with time

Look up healthunlocked.com. Excellent site for discussion of adult pre and post circ care; much of the comments are UK and India based they used to allow photos of precirc/post circ showing normal and abnormal healing. Some are quick, some say 3-12 months to adjust depending if the glans had been routinely exposed or in some cases not for 10,20,30 years

Thanks!

Although, I did not suffer from major phimosis and sometimes rolled my foreskin back for a day so the exposure was fine. So no big complications there

Healthunlocked were all adult circs. They used to show pictures which were helpful but now they don’t. I guess there were some underage or something. Anyway much of the entries were UK with NIH “free” circ for medical reasons. Most comments were very little discussion, no choices, this is medical procedure not cosmetic. the photos would show various styles, good stitching, some crooked stitches, ZSR (private clinic). The guys submissions were “does this look right for post op at 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month etc. some were gnarly pics of infections, not erotic at all. lots of suggestions for do I shower , use Vaseline or bio oil, salt water baths, strap up or hang loose, etc. Moderators generally said “see your doctor” we can’t comment if it’s normal healing or not.
